Below is a comprehensive list of all the images that can be entered into a NAPro score. While most of these images are accessed through
buttons on the Variable toolbar, some can only be entered by typing the command into the Command textfield in the top-left corner of the score window.
Regular Notes
These commands are available using the Note Category in the Tools Palette:

As well, commands can be combined to create tied notes - the Command wh.e3 would create a whole note tied to a dotted half note tied to a triplet eighth note.

Four beat rests are used in meters such as 6/2 where you may want to distinguish between a whole rest (full measure) and a 4 beat rest.
As well, commands can be combined to create a sequence of rests - the Command rwh.e3 would create a whole rest followed by a dotted half rest followed by a triplet eighth note.

- As well, graphical time signatures and numbers
can be created using commands such as: "4/4", "6/8", "2/4+3/8", and even irrational time signatures us as "6/10" or "4/5". Key signature groups can be added with the commands: "k" followed
by the name of the key such as "ke" (E major = 4 sharps) "kdb" (Db major = 5 flats) or with naturals for cancelation key signatures such as "kne" (4 naturals) or kndb"(5 naturals).

Playback Controls
A number of specialized commands can be added to your score to affect playback. These can be used to engage or disengage the Sustain Pedal, change patches (instruments) or send
specific MIDI controller or key switch data during playback. Normally these markers are not printed when your score is printed.
